Do you remember those days in high school, on the first day of school, and you sat next to a friendly face and BOOM! A friendship grew like a little baby dandelion. Yeah me too. I have no idea when we said goodbye to those days of friendships blossoming from a game of handball. Probably when we said goodbye to outside play dates and


Why does it seem that making friends as an adult is a whole lot harder now. In the mist of the social media era were finding it harder to connect and easier to get lost.


Are we not putting ourselves out there enough? Or do we simply overbook ourselves with too much obligation and responsibility that we neglect our instinct to be connected to the rest of the world. Does that mean that we also neglect our well being and mental stability.

Statistics on why relationships with friends are important shows that, " Men and women who reported having 10 or more friendships at age 45 had significantly higher levels of psychological well-being at age 50 than those with fewer friends."


Now some of us are no where near that, but no better time to put yourself out there than right now.


We're all about self care right now right! Well, self care is sometimes hanging with people that make you smile or laugh until your stomach hurts.
